Droped from a truck at 70 makes me imagine imploded CRT and a all the kings horses and all the kings men chassis and cabinet situation. Life happens, things get stored at all angles on abrasve surfaces with sharp stuff on top of them. That is what can happen to junk that has not become antique but still holds enough value to it's owner to keep them from tossing it out. That would mean that if I still went ahead and won this set without knowing if the CRT was good or not I could be in a very difficult situation to replace it if it was bad, right? :D charokeeroad 05-27-2011, 08:47 AM Anyone care to venture a guess as to the condition of this set? looking closely at the cabinet it doesn't look like the actual wood grain part got too scratched up. One could just strip and repaint the rest of the cabinet and it would look pretty good. It would be the CRT and the rest of the chassis that would be the big unknown especially if it's an early metal/glass CRT. John Folsom 05-27-2011, 02:21 PM 8AP4 CRTs can be had.
