I'm sure it works well, but that price is insane, especially for a late-1960's/early-1970's console combo.

And a couple more:

I have one of those Sony's in the last link, probably paid $10 for it.

I agree. They really were ahead of their time in many respects.

I like that Sylvania very much. I don't like the cabinet style but I operated a different cabinet that was not gaudy that had the same electronics and I was impressed with all but the turntable because of no speed adjustment. I am surprised there are no wealthy collectors that spend more money on unique stuff like this. If my budget would allow, I would buy it at that price even though I dislike the cabinet. I suppose my statement would have most here thinking that is why my budget is not high enough.
A year or two ago there was a '68 Sylvania large modern plain looking 25" with a color camera up top to show color slides on TV.
Apparently at that time Sylvania was a high-tech product.

Do you have the owner's manual, original bill of sale, etc.? If you have the related items, my offer is $200. and not a penny more.
Thanks,

Politely ask, "How does it feel to want?"

1300+ dollars. They're outta their minds.

I think that was among Sylvania's first solid state color sets. I believe they beat Zenith to market (but not Motorola & RCA, of course). I could be wrong, though-going by memory. That set probably cost $1399 when new!

I have one of those Longines sets, pretty neat little set. Mine worked fine last time I tried it.
