I found this on Hemmings.com which had several youtube clips of this area in the 60's. http://youtu.be/pJK9kHvnMgY

I have been watching them and comparing to googlemap streetview to see the changes.
Check out the precious girl that sees the movie camera at the stop light that is creating the film we are seeing.

It is hard for me to believe I can remember a time when nobody had access to the internet as I feel I could never live or enjoy life without it :)

You're not kidding, I loved the top up air on '65 red Impala, and what appeared to be a 1962 Oldsmobile NinetyEight four door hardtop, early on. And, the dark '59 Caddy flattop. The girl was either Bettie Page or Cassandra (Elvira) Peterson. LOL Great video, thanks for putting it here!

Did you catch the Citroen Goddess just fleetingly flash by ? I remember seeing a few of those, but the Renault Dauphin kinda "Did it" for Frenchy cars here in the States...I see a 6-window 1959 or 60 Caddy sedan every now & then, but the flattops must be rare as h3ll...Think I caught sight of a 1961-63 Lincoln pervertible sedan, too...(grin)

I saw the Citroen, I like them, never see any in real life though. I saw a gold Continental sedan parked near the Oldsmobile, and when I watch the video again, I'm sure I'll catch tons more eye candy. I love the '61 through '68 Continentals the most of the '60s Lincolns. (not much left) LOL
