hey guys i hate to ask but i will, in a ctc15 the boost rectifier would that be the hv rectifier tube 3a3? i am so used to a rectifier being a diode and not realizing it could be a tube.

Looks like the B+ boost is provided by the 6DW4 damper diode, the 3A3 is the HV rectifier diode.

If I'm reading your question correct the Boost Rectifier is not the HV Rectifier/3A3 Tube. There is also a high voltage (generated by the flyback transformer) and it is a boosted voltage, ala B+ Boost voltage. Some sets will have a B+ Boost diode which is solid state and there may be one on your 15. Your chassis also has a solid state Focus Rectifier.

any other rectifiers in this chassis as far as solid state i found, 2 diodes right off the power transformer, 1 in the horiz which is a dual, and a selenium in the convergence board.
