Looks like an SL-5800 Sony Betamax top of the line model, as I recall had a 3rd video head for special effects still, slow, and visible search you could FF through commercials with its wired remote!

That is an SL-5600, one step down from the '5800. It did have the wired multi-function remote control and two-week programmer, but without the dual-azimuth head for clear freeze-frame and slow motion.

Ah missed it by one! That 5600 will have the same capstan motor that the motor bearings would seize, the Sony 5400-5600 and Zenith equivalent models had that problem. 5800 used a different capstan motor that didn't seize. I replaced dozens of bad capstan motors in the early-mid '80s.

5600 was my first Betamax. Used it for years, untill buying the SL-HF900
