Does no one here know about anything about the General Electric Model 821 Daylight Television? Really?

Hi!!!! Thanks for replying. I was getting worried, there. I got that on Google as well. Mine has a stand that came with it. Apparently, it was $269.95 in 1949! It's immaculate and still works! I think I got a really good deal on it, but I'd feel better knowing from an expert!
Thanks for your help:)

See http://www.earlytelevision.org/how_much.html for some pricing examples. Its a typical 1949 BW 12 inch CRT set. To me a 12 inch BW CRT is worth less then a 7 or 10 inch. Since you like it and think you got a really good deal that is what matters. Also check out prices for sets selling in the VK classified section.

You're right! We love it. I wouldn't dream of selling it. I just couldn't find anything but Ads for it on line so I thought it may be really rare. Thanks again for your help!

Also see the TV history site:
http://tvhistory.tv/1946-49-GE.htm
My old price book* (from 1999) lists several GE models, some examples:
800 bakelite 10" $125, 806 mahog 10" $75, 807 blond 10" $85, 815 mahog 10" $40, 821 Mahog 12" $40, 830 mahog 12" $70. perhaps multiply these values by 2-4x? :scratch2:
