That's pretty tempting since it's within driving distance of my "backyard"...nice looking set!!

I hope someone gets it before someone buys it to stick a flat screen in it.

That is the 1956 Miss America Series. It is one of the few Philcos where the CRT is fixed to the chassis. It was the top of the line. A few quirks, but a good performer.

I like the cabinet design. A nice change from the usual cloth front speaker.
I wonder how many of the beauty contestant's parents bought that set to see their girl be voted prettier than the others?
