Both look like TV cabinets from the mid 50s to me.

I think the first one was originally a TV cabinet, one of those big, ornate ones from the early 1950s. My aunt had a TV in a mahogany cabinet like that, with heavy wooden doors in front of the CRT and six heavy metal (cast iron?) door pulls, three on each door; when she moved in the late 1960s, knowing I collected old TVs at the time, she gave me the chassis (which still worked perfectly well and which I used for several years afterward) and put that nice cabinet out for the trash! The TV was a 1951 Majestic 16" b&w roundie with a 16GP4 CRT. The picture on that tube, with the chassis out of the cabinet, looked a lot like today's 16:9 HDTV pictures when viewed on a 4:3 analog set, but the cabinet had a mask that made the picture look almost round. The only difference was that the sides of the mask were bowed outward. The only other TV I ever saw with this kind of CRT masking was an RCA 16" b&w roundie console at our church in the 1970s; however, that set went out with the trash when the church was remodeled 15 years or so later. :no:

The top image is definitely a television cabinet. We have one exactly like it, although when it was given to us, the guts were already gone. They did keep the metal "RCA Victor" script inside though, which is nice. Though we are not entertaining thoughts of finding the proper innards, it does make a nice stand for our RCA 8TS30.

That second set was possibly a combination. The cabinet appears wider.

I believe it was an early to mid 50s RCA tv cabinet. It almost looks like the 1951 RCA I have.The door pulls are different and the criss cross wood is thinner on mine.

You are correct on the top one. It is (was) the "Hillsdale" 19 inch RCA Model 9T126.
