B&W, but boy what a looker!

It has the tuning knob of a CTC-9, so guess that places it right around 1959-1960? Definitely a keeper, especially with the remote.

I missed the set, but the guy running the sale said it was color. I didn't see the TV so I don't know. Sold for $35 It sold within 3 hours

I wonder if Captainmoody or Carmine got it? Its right in their area. Many more CTC-9's and 10's have been spotted before one of those which in my mind makes this a really rare set.

Carmine would not know a good set if it bit him.

That whole room looks like a blast from the past. Love the blue carpet.

I don't believe that it is color. It looks like a nice 21" B/W to me... Did RCA ever make a set using the 22EP22?

If that set was avalible for a fair price in my area I'd have pounced on it(mostly because of the remote).

That set is definately a monochrome set. Probably the last one to use that style CRT.

But he does know cars. You sound like the kind that drives a GM product.

It is a fancy B&W and definitely NOT a color! It was not unusual for RCA to intermingle parts for B&W and color sets. I have 4 NOS RCA tuners (big ones!) that have CT100 knobs on them but are blonde in color.
