May I should have miniman82 03-04-2011, 09:42 AM B&W, but boy what a looker! It has the tuning knob of a CTC-9, so guess that places it right around 1959-1960? Definitely a keeper, especially with the remote. DaveWM 03-04-2011, 09:44 AM indeed that is a handsome set. oldtvsandtoy 03-04-2011, 12:35 PM I missed the set, but the guy running the sale said it was color. I didn't see the TV so I don't know. Sold for $35 It sold within 3 hours drh4683 03-04-2011, 08:15 PM I wonder if Captainmoody or Carmine got it? Its right in their area. Many more CTC-9's and 10's have been spotted before one of those which in my mind makes this a really rare set. oldtvsandtoy 03-05-2011, 12:07 AM Carmine would not know a good set if it bit him. Kevin Kuehn 03-05-2011, 12:22 PM That whole room looks like a blast from the past. Love the blue carpet. Kevin jr_tech 03-05-2011, 02:51 PM the guy running the sale said it was color. I didn't see the TV so I don't know. I don't believe that it is color. It looks like a nice 21" B/W to me... Did RCA ever make a set using the 22EP22? jr oldtvsandtoy 03-08-2011, 01:30 PM would anyone know the model number of this set? zenithfan1 03-08-2011, 02:15 PM Did RCA ever make a set using the 22EP22? jr No, they did not. Electronic M 03-09-2011, 12:50 PM If that set was avalible for a fair price in my area I'd have pounced on it(mostly because of the remote). Tom C. dieseljeep 03-10-2011, 01:26 PM I missed the set, but the guy running the sale said it was color. I didn't see the TV so I don't know. Sold for $35 It sold within 3 hours That set is definately a monochrome set. Probably the last one to use that style CRT. dieseljeep 03-10-2011, 01:31 PM Carmine would not know a good set if it bit him. But he does know cars. You sound like the kind that drives a GM product. zenithfan1 03-10-2011, 02:26 PM Hey Now, you'd better watch it!:nono: Since it's getting nicer out, I'm drivin' my '95 Chevy Bubble, AKA Caprice Classic:D I loves my ghetto sled..........:smoke: dieseljeep 03-10-2011, 03:59 PM Hey Now, you'd better watch it!:nono: Since it's getting nicer out, I'm drivin' my '95 Chevy Bubble, AKA Caprice Classic:D I loves my ghetto sled..........:smoke: Hey Mark. I kinda thought I'd get a rise out of you. julianburke 03-13-2011, 08:10 PM It is a fancy B&W and definitely NOT a color! It was not unusual for RCA to intermingle parts for B&W and color sets. I have 4 NOS RCA tuners (big ones!) that have CT100 knobs on them but are blonde in color. |
