One of the clearest CRT pictures I've ever seen. I'd pick this up if I was nearby and had about $100 to spare. I'm sure that the seller would take negotiations though.

I grew up with a set very similar to that. Had the twin speakers but was an early American cabinet and a year older. My parents got rid of it when us kids left and went to a 19" Zenith. My dad was into vintage furniture at the time and it didn't "fit in". I don't think it ever had to be repaired.

as oscar schlindler said,"nice things cost money".if it were a little less than i can justify the trip to retrieve it.but,i look at the whole picture and it wouldnt be cost effective for me.nice set,well worth the asking price but not for me.also,it is working which takes most of the fun out of it.
