What monitor is this? It's a television one or a medical one?

It seems to be a multi-format standard-definition and high-definition monitor, with NTSC and PAL support in its composite and S-video inputs. The included SDI adapter lets it accept video in the digital format commonly used in broadcast studios. (For US$4,200.00, it should be a nice monitor!) Here is a Web site with more details:

Off-topic: I would like to buy it, but 4,200 bucks is a enormus sum of money in Romania.

Just curios, why "Sony" <<Trinitron>> professional monitors never had flat screen?

Seller is just dreaming. He wants to use the $4,200 to buy a used car.

Some did, but you had to move up the BVM line to get it. All things being equal, it's a lot harder to get the same performance out of a flat CRT than a curved one. It also adds weight.
