That's very dark red wallpaper in that house. My parents always used pastel (light colors) paint, so we wouldn't need as much high wattage light bulbs to light the rooms.

Pretty sure its an astrosonic, SS too new for tubes. by the time maggies were doing rectangle color CRTs the tube amps were long gone.
