Found this yesterday for a whopping dollar. I thought "what the hell, its another weird thing that should be rescued."
Then I tried to lift it....
This set is an all metal portable that is damn near 60 pounds! Pulling off the back reveals a metal, hand-wired chassis with power transformer. Yoke plugs in and chassis removal is easy. CRT tests like new and has a 20 second life test. Not bad!
Looks like late 50s early 60s judging by the paper wax caps inside. No identification tags anywhere as far as a chassis number is concerned. =(
Soon as I push some of the other roundie projects out of the way I may get into this one to see what kind of a picture it puts out. Looks promising.
