I have a small B&W rca tv and I need the diagram for it. Only part of the model number is readable and it is 8-PT-7... and that's all I can read of it. Anyone have a diagram? thanks, John

You can DL the owners manual also: http://www.vintagetvsets.com/schem/personalportable.pdf andrefranc 11-14-2010, 08:41 AM Thanks to Eric for the schematic. My set uses a 6CG7 in the vertical and also for the horizontal osc. I don't have one of these tubes in stock but when I swapped them I still had the horizontal way off frequency. Any suggestions as to what is the likely cause? Thanks in advance. John Graber dieseljeep 11-14-2010, 10:18 AM The first capacitor to change would be c167 across l155, sine wave coil. It's a .01 mfd @ 600 volts. Then see if the horizontal will sync. in. Of course, the set's going to need a complete recap. The set's a real hotbox and they needed a recap real early in their life. andrefranc 11-16-2010, 05:41 AM Thanks to Dieseljeep. C167 did it. Works now. |
