This is a nice looking set with doors that slide back up into the TV when in use. This one is dead and is a hybrid chassis.

This one was dead due to a problem with the power cord. Once I got power to it, I discovered it had several other problems: VHF tuner is non operational (UHF works), no color, and the picture started getting darker after the set warmed up. The chassis is the same as what is used in that moldy packard bell set that I obtained last April. Oh, and the CRT had a weak red gun. It didn't test bad; but, it tested much weaker than the green and blue. A little jolt from the rejuvenator brought the red gun back up to what the green and blue were. Since this is the nicer looking set, I'll probably end up using parts out of the moldy set to fix this one. The CRT's in both sets are rebadged RCA's and the CRT in the moldy set test like new (in fact, it is new).

The more I work on rcas and pbs the more I see how the pb is a clone of the rca. Most of the parts are even interchangeable. The pb is basically a ctc17-35
