I saw that, too. Looks (or looked) nice. Of course, you have to wonder about the part where "picture was lost," which could be anything from a cheap 5-minute fix to a Real Bad Thing.

No matter what the fix the set was worth more then he was asking. This should be evident by how fast it sold. Somebuddy got a deal.:thmbsp:

Wow, I have the exact same set. I never would have imagined it was worth much more than the $50 I gave for it. Sounds like the fuse blew. It keeps B+ on, but kills the FB. Mine was in the same shape, and it only needed new caps.

Last night i to was tempted to hit the buy it now. but after just comming back from Michigan with a big console in the back seat of a pickup and the front seats pushed up forward travelling all the way to central British Columbia, my body said no!. the next trip will be portables and picture tubes.
