I had a sony VERY similar to that. except it didnt have the computer panel with the buttons and stuff. it was manual push switch where you had to tune each switch.

played great with a good pic, just if you left it running for awhile, over night. you wake up next morning. it would be dead. but the power light would be on, and the indicator lamp lit on the channel you had selected. if you turned power off, and right back on, it worked fine again.

I have the same exact Sony (the one in my avatar), however I payed no way near $124 when I bought it three years ago. Still use it today...

I assume that it's $70 because it doesn't require any major work or repairs. If not, that would be ridiculous.

That Zenith is a late '70's-early '80's 9" B&W set and is nothing special as far as being worth much and $70 is nuts. I don't care if it's in mint condition and has the box and original paperwork. These 9"/12" B&W sets are usually hard to give away to the general public and usually don't bring over $5 or $10 to a collector. Recently, I've been finding a lot a 12" B&W's and most were free. Even though I like that Zenith, I wouldn't give over $10 for it.
