This black & white TV was sell in the 1972. It 's a Telefunken mod. 1253 to 12-inch screen with 6 channel presets for tuning varicap diodes. The peculiarity of this TV receiver is that you can power with 220 V network, with 12V of the car battery and the internal batteries that are housed in the same TV stand and it recharges when the power supply 220 V. The model was manufactured from 1972 to 1979

I have this same set, mine is red and from 1975, the 8-presets pushbutton varactor tuner in my set is cheapy and scratchy and so the tuning tends to drift a lot

I prefer the older Telefunken tube and hybrid portables with regular separated VHF-UHF rotary tuners, they were a lot more reliable and also sounded better.

I understand, my TV has varicap tuning stable and the selectors seem new, must have been used very little, although the cabinet has no scratches as smoke screen.
