Hey TV people!

Tonight I stumbled upon what appears to be a late 80's Magnavox Stereo TV.

The numbers are:
model #28734348 Chassis #19C602

If any of you guys could give me any info on this TV it would be great!!

Looks to be an impressive model for the year. It has adjustable treble bass and balance adjustments as well as Input and output composite jacks and it is cable ready. No remote included though.

That chassis was from around '85-'86 and was used in the better Magnavox sets. The C6 came in 19", 20", 25", and 26" versions. It should be a good performer if the CRT is still decent.

Cool, so it must be a 19 inch. Thats great to know. I'm gonna try it out in the morning and I'll post how it performs and a few pictures.

Yep, 19C6=19", 26C6=26", etc.

I can't find the manufacture date anywhere on the TV. It must have gotten ripped off because the model number sticker looks kind of torn.

Well, I tried it out this morning. Hooked it up to cable and it seems to me the blue gun is not working right. The picture overall is very yellowish green. It also has one bad speaker but I guess other than that it is completely functional. The picture can get very bright.

Something strange I noticed is that it only has audio inputs, no video inputs.

If I'm able to open up the TV, would turning up the blue output possibly correct it?
