Here's another recent acquisition -a Wavetek 1002 0-500 MHz sweep generator. Amazingly, it seems to work just fine. I can't remember the last time that happened! It's also built like a tank.

I'm not quite sure how the markers are supposed to work. The buttons are marked 1, 10 50 Har :scratch2: I suppose I better read the manual.

Very nice, stable output

Unfortunately, it didn't come with any probes. The RF output seems to be some sort of threaded BNC connector :headscrat Maybe it's a TNC ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TNC_connector

As soon as I get the probes and markers sorted out, I'm going to try aligning an Admiral set I have up on the workbench.

On your scope there, push the "print/utility" button then quickly press and hold the second and third function buttons along the bottom of the screen.

Oh yeah, the old Tetris easter egg :D I can't get it work on mine for some reason. Maybe I have a different version of firmware or my timing is just bad. Probably the latter!
