I was thinking today about that episode a year or two back, with a group of guys interested in exploding GE TV sets from the mid-60s. Remember that? They might pay big money for this set!

Looks like a nice one, anyway-I hope it finds a good home!

If it were only a few hundred miles closer it looks like my RCA new vista , cataract and all. I hope that doesnt get curbed.

Hi,

one week ago, I got an anonymous email with two photos of an early GE color tv set (see attachment). The sender wrote: "Look at First GE Color I found~~ Not so simple~~ RCA Kine still has getter!" I tried to reply, but my email was rejected with the message, no such email adress existed.

Does somebody could identify this GE color tv set?

Kind regards,
Eckhard

Yes, that is what it is. That would be only the 4th surviving GE 15 inch set.

Looks like a pay phone on the wall beside it. :scratch2:

Great find. I hope those are recent photos. This 15" GE post needs it's own thread.

Hi Pete,

I believe that's "Automatic Electric Co."
Here's a link: Automatic Electric Company - Telephonearchive.com - Antique Telephone Information
