first off i hope this is the right forum since it is a solid state tv and kinda rectangular crt. well i got the tv it is in really good looking shape but when i turn it on nothing happens at all no noise, clicks or anything. what model is this tv as the tag is almost all worn off. all i could see is it is run#8 if that helps. i will try to upload pics my thing is full so it wont let me for now.

This is the right forum. Have you tried checking the fuses or circuit breaker if it has one? We can't tell much from a run number but the pics would be great.

it has one but i guess i need to get my volt meter to get a better idea of how far my voltage goes.

Just try pressing the circuit breaker in, glad to see you on VK :thmbsp:
