The 'Hot Water'-101 was the radio that got me interested in becoming a ham when I was 12 years old. My friend's brother had one and it was sooo cool. Love the page you put together. Reece 07-02-2010, 05:51 AM Good and thorough job. What a difference a good bath and new caps etc. make! Sandy G 07-02-2010, 06:22 AM Kewl ! Excellent job ! Chimes 07-02-2010, 06:14 PM Kewl ! Bill - K5MIL I also dreamed of owning an HW-101 in the 1970's, and I bought one around 1991-2 (remember packet radio bulletin board sale ads?) after finally becoming a ham. It worked pretty well then, but I have not had it on the air in years now. I look forward to reading your Web site and getting my '101 going again, Bill. 73 bob91343 11-14-2010, 06:20 PM I have one of those. Any suggestions as to the best way to get it to someone who might appreciate it more than I do? 7"estatdef 11-14-2010, 08:37 PM You could just give it to someone... Are you near Philly?
