anyone have info on a magnavox bicentennial console? T995 chassis with very elaborate cabinet.dark oak with folding doors.they have 1776 carved in them.set has an awesome picture.among the best magnavox i ve ever seen.i have heard on this set but never got to see one until today.unusual to say the least.any info is greatly appreciated.

And I would have thought 1975 (need time to ship it to stores, and for advance sales... :D

That's probably more accurate, I should have said it's a 76 model.

I can't recall ever seeing one.

manufacture date oct 1976.this is a great playing set.very nice picture and a rather ornate early american cabinet.i bought this today.shouldnt have but couldnt resist.need a power cap.went south as i was negotiating.summertime in a garage will do it!payed more for it than i should have.

Hey lets see a pic of this one! Sounds cool, I have never seen a bicentennial Maggie before! I was born in Oct 1976 too!

i will try to post a pic.i do have one on my cell phone of the screen.very sharp pic before the cap went.i pulled a wire of one side and it operates with a slightly pulled in and short picture.in the shop days,those oval shaped power caps went all the time!just need to find one.no supply houses around here anymore!

I feel you. There's not much in my neck of the woods after HSC electronics shut thier doors last year. Well, I got Fry's electronics but thier selection kinda sucks, but I shouldn't complain.
Forget Radio Shack unless youre looking for a cap 35wvdc or less. :(

just need to find one.no supply houses around here anymore!
