This cabinet looks kinda deep for a B/W, could it have been color? I don't recognize it at all.

View Full Version : Does anyone know what this WAS? zenithfan1 04-08-2010, 12:16 PM This cabinet looks kinda deep for a B/W, could it have been color? The piano hinge and the construction of the cabinet make me think it wasn't a factory mass-produced TV. Charles zenithfan1 04-08-2010, 01:07 PM Too bad someone gutted it huh? It would have been a nice looker being color or B/W. MRX37 04-08-2010, 05:18 PM I don't think it's a Curtis Mathes. If it's not big enough to comfortably lie down inside, it's not a CM. kx250rider 04-09-2010, 10:40 AM I agree with MRX37, as CM cabinets weren't that elegant and well-built. (no offense CM collectors). They looked fancy, but most were built cheaply to look nice, like some Magnavoxes of that time. CM had nice slabs of walnut or mahogany on top, but that was about it.
