Kiwick 03-01-2010, 05:40 PM Interestingly, some of the current 19" or 20" el cheapo Turkish made CRT sets have a pale phosphor screen with a very rounded shape, surrounded by an old-style bezel, and a boxy cabinet that give a pleasant 1960s look to them. They are serious shit that only lasts a couple of years though, and are absolutely disgusting inside, just a little flimsy chassis with undersized pressed steel heatsinks, a Lithuanian 90-degree CRT that usually starts to go after less than 1000 hours, and a flimsy silver painted plastic cabinet that isn't rigid enough to support the CRT when the back is removed. IIRC, Korea uses a different broadcast modulation method than the 8VSB the ATSC uses in the USA, so don't be tempted to grey market import one!
