tomorrow, I am going to go and pick up that CTC-5 in Illinois. I have room in the van, but i have one of those 2 ge stereos I got, with the 7355 amps in them, still in there. There SHOULD be room for the 5, as I have hauled FOUR console Tv's in there before at once.

I have plenty of room length--wise. I need to know how DEEP, front-to-back, and how wide, side--to--side, one of the Supers are-. I have about 29" right now, without moving anything around....is that enough??

This may or may not help... My CTC 4 is 27 inches deep counting knobs and CRT bump... the 5 should be about the same. The CTC 4 is 33 inches wide, but it has a vertical chassis with extra width for the chassis. It has the knobs on the front, on the right side of the crt. Without the panel on the right side, the set would be about 27-28 inches wide. It stands 38 inches high.

That's the Westcott upright console.

Height: 39-7/8", Width: 28-5/16", Depth 27-1/2". This from the RCA Victor catalog. Not sure if the measurements include side knobs or rear cardboard tube cover. Try and leave room for a packing blanket during transport.

measured on mine:
H 35 + 5 legs = 40" total
W 27 1/4 + 1 1/4 knobs = 28 1/2" total
D 22 3/4 + 5 cap = 27 3/4" total

all measured to the next 1/4 inch
