It should work just fine as a DTV antenna, if there's strong enough DTV signals in the area. Antennas don't know nor care what the signal modulation is.

I've noticed a spike in selling prices lately. A Hallicrafters sold for just over $400 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230435398887) a few days ago. An Admiral 19A11 sold for a similar amount a few weeks before that.

A few years back there was a Delco that was much the same , winning bid $175.00
What's going on ???
