I placed a small bid on this set then forgot about it till I got the winning bid notification! Final price was less than $13.00 I think.
I suppose interest in these portables has dipped with the end of analog but it's still a neat set.
It's complete in the original box with all the paperwork and accessories, it even came with 6 new AA batteries! Darn near mint, the few marks on it seem to be mostly from sitting in the box for 30 years.
The original Sears price tag of $149.99 is still on the box.
I was able to tune a UHF station or two out of Mexico but it's hard to see in the picture.
