View Full Version : Marshall Field's & Co set on Chicago CL bandersen 01-24-2010, 06:20 PM Anyone know who actually made this set ? http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/clt/1568568936.html (no affiliation) Sandy G 01-24-2010, 06:26 PM I dunno, but it IS Purdy...(grin) jr_tech 01-24-2010, 07:35 PM I Could be wrong here, but the knobs and layout look a lot like your lovely Sentinel. jr bandersen 01-24-2010, 08:08 PM It sure does and it has a similar grill pattern to the 435 in the 1951 line from tv history: http://www.tvhistory.tv/1951-Sentinel-Brochure.jpg. Maybe it's a 1950 model ? Hmmm - I should really get that Sentinel running one of these days! old_tv_nut 01-25-2010, 09:26 PM Wow - I never knew Field's had store-brand TVs. I wonder if they had other store-brand electronics (radios, phonos) as well? bandersen 01-27-2010, 08:08 PM Wow - I never knew Field's had store-brand TVs. I wonder if they had other store-brand electronics (radios, phonos) as well? If they did, they don't seem to be well known. I can't find any info about any. bandersen 12-02-2010, 04:19 PM This set just popped up again almost a year later. Someone should save it. http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/atq/2091473673.html Sam Cogley 12-03-2010, 03:04 PM This set just popped up again almost a year later. That can get kinda boring to work on. |
