AUdubon5425 01-04-2010, 07:11 AM I think the seller would have had better luck contacting the Tucker Automobile Club. After all, you have 48 potential buyers - well Francis Copolla owns two... Anyhow, Tucker sold accessories for the not-yet-released cars, including radios. So there may have been a thousand Tucker radios sold and 50 or so cars produced. Of course, the owners of those million dollar cars may have laughed at the seller's asking price. ekimetsok 01-04-2010, 06:20 PM AUdubon5425 speaks the truth. Thousands more Tucker radios out there than Tuckers. Those sets show up on eBay all the time, and are always NOS. We're workin' on it-Why, we've got the radios made already..." & hopefully stave off the Feds, who were Smelling a Mouse about the whole business. wa2ise 01-05-2010, 01:44 AM Of course, the owners of those million dollar cars may have laughed at the seller's asking price. For that money I would expect it to have been recapped and restored to factory working condition, and even then it's pricey... :thumbsdn: |
