Note seller's other items, too. Makes you wonder what else he's got in the back room.

Isn't he a member here? Very few posts, but I think I've seen the name around. He's indeed a TV collector as I remember this ebayer bidding on space command remote controls and TV parts a few years ago. This was back in the good old days when you could see who you were bidding against. It would be nice if he gave us a status report on the CRT.

Yet another CTC5 with the cover missing from the HV box...

It amazes me what even a crappy 5 will bring in, I would never pay more than 200 bucks for a set like that. Once that printed finish is shot that's it. I guess if the CRT was really good so I could put in the 'ol Wingate:)

Maybe I need new glasses, but it looks like something is missing on the neck of the toob.

not all missing, but perhaps broken - the blue coil is lying on the chassis

Bet you'd SELL one for that much, wouldn't you?

I did and now regret it, money isn't everything. It was an emergency situation, money was needed for the house or I wouldn't of. My plumbing was flooding the basement. Offer me something for my 4 or 5 and see how fast I say no before you finish your sentence. I guess If my family was starving or they were foreclosing or something but otherwise a great big n-o.

Didn't you sell a 4 recently? :D

That's the one I'm talking about. It was a necessity to sell it, that and a '57 Sylvania 31C606MU "The Saratoga".:( I was VERY fortunate to have found another 4. Actually, it came to me as I had to work early one day and checked my email to find one being offered. (Thanks Jamie:D) I doubt if I'll ever own another Sylvania though. It was good while it lasted.......
