The box was fairly well packed and covered with 'warning fragile' and 'handle with care' labels. Here's the results :( They denied my insurance claim too. I would NOT consider shipping, period, unless the seller agreed to remove the chassis from the cabinet and ship in two boxes. Since it is Goodwill, I wouldn't count on that. I had to convince the seller to attempt it and then walk him through the process over the phone. I have, on the last decade, packed some VERY big and heavy vintage TV sets, to be sent to great distances, and I NEVER had any problem!!! bandersen 05-24-2009, 11:47 PM We figure it was either nailed with a forklift or dropped upside down from the truck. |
