Tony V 04-19-2009, 11:15 PM I have one of these. They are nice radio's. The cool thing about these is the dial also glows when powered on. Its neat to listen to it with the lights turned low. To be one of the early tube FM radios, its quite stable without having AFC. The AM picks up well on these. Nice Find! -Tony AnalogDigit 04-20-2009, 03:30 AM Nice! jeyurkon 04-20-2009, 08:03 AM That is nice! My aunts had one. One of my aunts and my dad worked for Westinghouse in the transformer division. They were loyal to Westinghouse products. And thanks everyone for the compliments. This was actually my first vintage radio purchase. I was doing vintage stereo but I think it's time for a change. This one got me hooked. Sandy..I used Meguiar's PlastX polish on the cabinet. It's for clear plastics, but works good on just about any with a little care. It now shines like a baby's bottom. |
