Finally a studio does something really smart.

Warner Brothers is selling movies that are otherwise not available on DVD (and not likely to be on regular DVD because of limited demand) through the Warner Archive Site.

For $19.95 (sometimes discounted) they will send you a DVD-R with a professionally printed label and case.

I'm really excited for the chance to pick up some obscure films that I'd probably never get to see in good quality otherwise. :thmbsp:

Oh boy. There's some good stuff there. I think I will have to pick up The Command in the near future among others.

thanks for the link.not meaning to hijack the thread but there is also turner classic movies that also sell old rare movies, in case you didnt know.

I dunno. If they aren't being mass released, the print quality may be little if any better than you'd see on a cable showing.

And if they're willing to go to this length to sell 'em, why not go ahead and officially release them?
