54 or 55 maybe? looks like the 19CT1 posted here a while back.

Wonder if it still has the 19" tube?

I'd say that bad boy is from 1954-55-seems like I remember seeing its double 1st cousin in that "Classic TVs" book. Would be a prize, that's for sure. -Sandy G.

The one pictured used the 19VP22. The ones converted to a 21AXP22 did not have the gold surround around the screen.

Hummmmm... I have a friend in St. Louis. I'm gonna call him and see if he'll pick it up and bring it to me here in Omaha!

IIRC, the last Motorola like this one on ebay brought around 2 grand. Seems it had the 21" conversion. That was about a year ago i think?

This one here would be a rare one... still having the 19" tube. And is that a blonde cabinet it's in?

You can expect last minute snipers with deep pockets on this one!

The earlier one you are talking about may be the one I got in Aug 2002. It did have the 19 in tube and it checks like a new one. That made it worth $2200. Right?

I wonder what ever become of this guy... he was hanging out on AK for a while... Joe_tbird. This one had the conversion to 21". It only went for 1000.

I bought my Moto with original 19" tube back in 1988 for 200.00 from a retired Engineer that worked for the company!
Am going to fire it up and get some pics when I go back down to my parents farm in NC later this year.

At this time, only 30 hours left to go on this auction. I suspect that watching this will become very 'interesting' by tonight and tomorrow morning... not to mention that last hour!

And to think that this guy innocently started this at 99 cents... i bet he had no clue as to what this would become, and the attention it would get!

Well damn... i tried! :(

I am kinda surprised that there was only one person to outbid me. I figured there be a lot more last minute spikers.

Anyone here familiar with who that winner is?

It was not Polaraman but is the winner a member?

I had emailed the seller several days ago asking some questions about the set. One of the things I had asked was where it came from.

He wrote back saying that this TV was in a house that he had recently purchased. He only put it on eBay because he thought it would be easier than hauling it to the dump!
