For people that have seen The Watchmen

I liked it, although a little long and jumped around a bit too much (bad editing).

With the Dark Knight this year and now this, the bar has been set so high for the comic movie genre. It was a pure joy seeing the comic literally brought to life. They did a good job with it.

I would have gave it 5 stars except for that blue member flapping about. :nono:

I didn't read the book, but I was able to follow it. I'm sure many people couldn't, especially if that hadn't read the book. I agree with dspang, with Watchmen and the Dark Knight the superhero genre bar has been set very, very high. Watchmen was much more thought provoking than The Dark Knight IMO, and overall a more fulfilling movie. I may go read the book, though I've never found myself attracted to graphic novels.
