Sat down to watch the movie "Superbad (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0829482/)" (2007) last night. Didn't expect much, I guess, but was positively surprised: In fact, it was very funny, and I doubt I have laughed this hard in a long time. Reminds me about a modern-day "American Graffiti".

Unless you take offense to a ton of foul language, go and get it - watching it was well worth my time, at least.

My favorite line is when Jonas is talking about that girls ex-boyfriend:"have you ever looked into his eyes?It was like the first time I heard the Beatles."
Very funny movie.

I'm of the High School / College age, and I really didn't like that movie much. However a lot of people I know do like it. I don't like most modern "pop comedies" so I rarely judge them harshly.

I'll pass then. movies today are so foul and vulgar I can't watch half of them, esp the 'comedies'. shame, cuz the clips look good, esp the cops cheering on the guy when he scores with the chick

That was my only complaint about that movie was the ridiculous overuse of curse words.

If you have (or rent) the DVD “Knocked Up”, check out the deleted scenes. There are two that are funnier than the rest of the movie.

Espescially the extended scene with the Doctor in the delivery room,"youre Shaq, youre Kobe, and youre some scrub from Croatia.":D
