It looks a little shallow in depth. For looks it needs to be deeper. Right now it looks like sponge bob. I would make it deeper and put a nice amp and speakers inside.

At least this one is a custom cabinet fabrication instead of a gut and replace job with new electronics. It appears to be well done. Its a nice way to blend a new piece of electronics into a retro styled room. If it wasnt for the legs it would resemble the early projection sets of the late 40's early 50's as far as the screen goes. I agree with newhallone though as it should be a bit deeper to really pull off the look. I would concider something like this myself if it had a better quality tv in it as i havent heard too many good things with the Dynex brand.

Yeah, hopefully the TV can be removed easily for replacement when it fails. Also, hopefully there are ventilation holes and/or a fan for keeping all those Chinese capacitors cool.
