I stopped at Henry's TV in wheaton to see if he had any old TV brochures. I was pleasantly surpized to find basically an entire collection from the 60s-80s! He had an entire 4 drawer file cabinet full and he gave me the whole thing. I will drive out there next week and pick up the rest, but had to grab the essentials, thats the zenith stuff from the 60s-70s and a couple RCA's. I didnt look through everyone as they were just piled in the cabinets untouched for years. Many of the manuals have old long gone chicagoland TV shops names stamped on the backs which makes them more special. He picked them up from all over the place. In the picture, you see every zenith brochure from 1967-1981 which covers my favorite years in color TV (67-74). Also are RCA brochures for 1970-73. These are full brochures. The little booklets are special products brochures for zenith (product features and options). These brochrures answered all my space command options, in which the last mechanical space command remote was in 1979 color TV. They featured "Tube type TVs" in the 1975 brochure as low priced economy TV. I was surprised as I though the marketing and production on tube types for zenith stopped in 74. 1971 is the last year for space command 300, in 71, space command 500 is introduced.
