View Full Version : Found a 21" Zenith andy 05-15-2004, 11:11 AM ... andy 05-16-2004, 09:38 PM Here it is. I'm not sure if is worth saving, but it will at least be good for parts. The chassis is bent is several places and the bottom is VERY rusty. It does turn on, but has what appears to be a HV regulation problem. The focus and size changes a lot with picture brightness. drh4683 05-17-2004, 04:58 PM COOL SET! That looks like my 20CC50 chassis. mine is from 72, but yours looks more like 1969-1970. Those are impossible to find now and should be saved! Even though it shows abuse, try to restore it. Do you have a model number? It cant be older than a 1969, as it has the blue made in portugal yoke. Looks like a zenith economy set, as it has a bandswitch tuner. It doesnt have gyro drive UHF tuning does it?(flywheel on the UHF tuner, you can flick the UHF knob and spin the uhf dial from one end to the other) Keep us posted. drh4683 05-17-2004, 05:23 PM Here is my 20CC50, which is a 72 set. This was my daily watcher untill I found my space command 600 table set this past april. This set has its original zenith rauland crt in it. Your set must be an older model as it still has a bonded crt. |
