Hmmm, I'm not sure if any actors fall into that category for me. I'm a case-by-case guy, I guess. But here are favorites off the top of my head.

-John Cusack, like many mentioned already. Although I didn't like "The Jack Bull" much.
-Nickolas Cage, but "Ghost Rider" was pretty lame.
-Gene Hackman
-Will Smith
-Kevin Kline ("Dave" is one of my favorite movies)
-Jackie Chan, but that doesn't have much to do with his acting abilities.
