Big Tuna 06-23-2008, 07:15 PM Hey everyone!
For fun I just took some pics of special box set LD's and a few obscure rare titles not on DVD. Anyone else have some neat stuff they wanna show off?:)
Probably the single most valuable LD I have is the signed one of Highlander 10th Anniv, Edition!

similost 06-27-2008, 11:42 AM I don't have a laser player, but I was at the thrift the other day, and they had a lot of cool disks, all in perfect shape..
Guns of Naverone, 20,000 thousand leagues, Scarface, ...damn, wished I could remember some of the others, but they were all very classic titles like that... I started looking around for a player kicking the idea around, but no player there.. just the disks..

Next trip to NYC (late July?) I'll be picking up some more discs and probably another player (Pioneer CLD-59? That's from memory). I have to stop in DC on the way back to pick up a Yamaha power amp, so PM me if you might want to put dibs on the LD player or at least set up a meet & greet.

similost 06-27-2008, 04:20 PM the only reason I was considering LD was because of the stack of cool titles they had. I would bet they are gone now. I'm looking at blu ray now..
would stil really like to met up. i'll catch you in a PM about it a little later this evening. It's a pain typing this out on my phone right now....
