...Item #290239605553, 9 days 5hrs to go, seller sez its got a good 7DP4, its been his for 25 yrs, time for it to find a new home. Ugly, dirty cabinet, but all there save a couple of Knobs. Not mine, or any connection, of course. Hell, Y'all actually think I'd sell a 621 if I had one ?!? Fat chance...If I DID, I'd put it here 1st, though. Anyhow, its already at $315, w/THAT much time to go...Bet it'll pop $1500 afore it's said 'n' done.-Sandy

The chassis looks pretty good. I didn't see much corrosion. The Cabinet needs a complete resto, very rough...

They have a link to my site and say there are only 69 RCA 621TS's in existence as registered.

I'm of course not saying that's all there is or even close, that's just how many people have taken the time to tell me about their set, there's probably quite a lot more out there but not everyone goes looking on the Internet to find out about them.

Do we know how many were made ? Seems like I remember reading somewhere there weren't TOO many to start with, they were only made for 6 months or so anyhow, and if yours took a dump around '53 or so, who WOULDN'T be tempted to update to a 24" or even 27" bigazz B&W...Or even one of them fancy new color sets...

A fully restored one went for either $1200 or $1400 at the convention this year.

The 621 at the convention was SWEET. It was priced at $1400 at one point late Saturday. I thought about it, but couldn't pull the trigger. Whoever took it got a 'beaut.

A retired TV repairman living about 4 miles from here has a fabulously restored 621 TS. I'm pretty sure he doesn't do forums. He did the alignment on my 630 TS.

What on earth happened to that cabinet? I have never seen one that dark.

It does look dark. But, one shot of the cabinet looks a little lighter. It is pretty beat up, though. It's missing the rear part of it's HV Cage. I asked him, it is indeed long gone.

A retired TV repairmen gave me, and helped me align my 630TS. He's a Rensselaer Polytech Grad, Class of '54. Great Guy.

Where will we be without these guys, when they're finally all gone...?
