hey all -

i'm new here and searching for an original (circa 1960) Zenith Space Command 300 remote control handset. a friend needs one as a prop so it's not mandatory that it actually works. it's the gold one with the horizontal seesaw bar towards the lower half of the box. i've uploaded a jpg file for reference. any help would be much appreciated !

thanks much ! j.j. sedelmaier / [email protected]

Hello,

I hope you find what you need, and I also hope you will like it around
here and will want to keep coming back!

Good luck with your search.

Yes, good luck with that one. That remote is getting kinda rare these days, the 2nd generation version is a lot more common. It is the one with vertically placed buttons in a grey case with brushed aluminum face. Have you tried the bay? Sometimes you get lucky. Also, welcome to AK!

Here at AK was probably the best place to ask. You might also want to place a "wanted" ad on the Early Television Museum website (http://www.earlytelevision.org/classified_page.html). You could ask around at antiqueradios.com (http://antiqueradios.com) too. Try contacting the local collecting clubs. Craigslist is probably a long shot but worth trying.
