I just got a video-to-USB convertor set up on my computer and have made some videos of late 60's/early 70's RCA tube type TV's (plus radios, pianos and organs)
The youtube channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/retrochad
This is the first time I really have turned on these sets in about 4 years...have been so busy with other things that I haven't gotten around to the RCA sets in a long while. These are now stored in the barn but will be transported to downtown Midland into better facilities where I can work on them....so these videos show the sets in the "as found" condition but I will make some more videos to document the repair process. There is a metal case CTC-38 table model, CTC-38 console with some repairs, CTC-31 console w/replaced CRT, CTC-52 15" portable & CTC-53 18" table model so far.
Also shown is a never sold CTC-16 from a TV shop with new rebuilt CRT...needs new power supply caps so I can't show it working yet.
