Dave A Sandy G 01-26-2008, 07:26 PM Oh, dear.... Adam 01-26-2008, 07:30 PM Still not as bad as that tv-dog house that was up there a while ago. And at least he didn't junk the chassis, in the description it says that it was only an empty cabinet when the seller got it. fox_rivers 01-26-2008, 07:34 PM Still not as bad as that tv-dog house that was up there a while ago. Its better then being in the trash. mr_fixer 01-26-2008, 11:42 PM He needs to put a coin slot on the top of the tv set. Pay for Pray! Keefla 01-26-2008, 11:44 PM i have to say ive never seen that before....luckily. Brach 01-26-2008, 11:59 PM I bet the artist is a dear man who just hasn't been around people in awhile. I don't intend any disrespect towards him. My heart gets a little heavy imagining all the hard work from someone who put much thought and effort into something to make someone else happy only to have most make fun of his work as though he's an idiot. I can certainly relate to that. With all repect to the artist, if I had been his friend I would have given him an original chassis for it before he had time think of such a way to spend his time. Maybe if we get some real nice looking little chuch people to put in it he won't feel so lonely waiting for a buyer. I'm sorry that's not very funny. I sometimes get too sensitive for others. I hope he sells it to a church where it can be put to good use! peverett 01-27-2008, 12:38 AM I went to an antique sale today. Saw two TV cabinets that had been modified to be storage cabinets. Kind of depressing. One had been an early 1950s TV while the other appeared to have been a color TV from the 1960s(possibly a roundie). Did find a neat radio though. mr_fixer 01-27-2008, 01:05 AM Brach i wouldn't bet too much money on your hunch. The users name leads me to believe that the creator of that masterpiece is a Lady. Logan :nutz: fsjonsey 01-27-2008, 11:52 AM Why? mr_fixer 01-27-2008, 03:15 PM "bet the artist is a dear man who just hasn't been around people in awhile." The sellers name is southern gal "I don't intend any disrespect towards him. My heart gets a little heavy imagining all the hard work from someone who put much thought and effort into something to make someone else happy only to have most make fun of his work as though he's an idiot. I can certainly relate to that." who said it is hard work to put a some shelf paper and a few seats from a doll house in a cabinet. "With all repect to the artist, if I had been his friend I would have given him an original chassis for it before he had time think of such a way to spend his time." I doubt that she cared to learn television repair, i could be wrong , but how many members of the Horizontal Hold section of AK are Ladies. "Maybe if we get some real nice looking little chuch people to put in it he won't feel so lonely waiting for a buyer." I would like to put some some small animatronic people inside, that jump up when the the lil' preacher says Halelulayah! i would rig a little sound box with relays. This would be activated by the coin box on the front of the TV cabinet. Ok if there any other questions, then lets move this to a general discussion forum or PM me!
