View Full Version : Zenith SC Color Combo/Stereo jstout66 02-11-2004, 03:34 PM just saw this on eBay. A "newbie" seller, but a great set. Looks like one Doug should look into!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3273557661&category=12515 drh4683 02-11-2004, 04:22 PM That thing is huge! Its a 20X1C38 chassis, 68. Ive got a sc600 set with the same tuner layout, but a Y1C50. Too bad I cant find any table sc sets. Those things seem to be extinct, unless I find a destroyed rusty one like I did last week. Id bid on it if I had the room and the time to go get it. Just need to wait for the local find at an estate sale. Hopefully I'll find another one someday. (Just to note, my avatar is a 20Y1C50 from the 1968 zenith brochure) andy 02-11-2004, 08:22 PM ... drh4683 02-16-2004, 09:33 PM hey dwight, you better hit that reserve!!!!!!!!!!! Hes got pretty poor pics of that set. The tuner control looks like this set: (my only sc600!) drh4683 02-16-2004, 09:36 PM Inside the door is control for volume preset (for the remote stepper) and fine tuning only. captainmoody 02-17-2004, 08:22 AM The pics are quite dark, He emailed me back and said it was in the basement and that the tv section doesn't work. If I do work a deal with him, It will be about a 4 1/2 hour drive for me. Not too bad considering there are none of those around here! Carmine 02-18-2004, 02:30 PM Capt'n... If your seller can wait for the weekend around March 4th-ish, I might be able pick that one up for you. Perhaps we could trade some TV know-how for a strong back and empty minivan? captainmoody 02-23-2004, 11:04 AM I purchased the Zenith from him now need help getting it back! Carmine, Did you get my email? Carmine 02-23-2004, 07:53 PM Just need to check with my wife regarding if we'll be attending a trade show in Columbus this year.... I'll be in touch soon. captainmoody 02-23-2004, 09:04 PM Thanks! |
