Definitely....didn't get to see much of it this time. They do it every year. "Eye of the Beholder" is a classic.

I watched it for a couple of hours yesterday with my oldest daughter. I loved it but she was only moderately amused. She hung in there until we got to that Burgess Meredith episode where all he wanted to do was read.

I've been watching some of them, too. Interesting to see actors: Robert Redford, Agnes Moorehead, Telly Savalas much much younger.

I think Burgess was in about every other episode. I have been watching it on and off all day.
At the end when it shows who wrote the story. You would be amazed at how many Rod wrote himself.

Was "To Serve Man" on? Or that one with Agnes Moorehead as the old woman with the spaceship on the roof??

Damn, there was more thought in one of those shows than a whole season worth of MTV programming these days.

TZ would NEVER make it nowadays...They've tried a couple of times-It required the viewer to THINK, to use his/her imagination a bit. Which is something seemingly nobody really wants to do much of anymore...But look what wonders they're missing...WE know, the ones who have eat the show up for nigh on to 50 years now...Too bad today's people ain't gotta clue...

The Twilight Zone rules. One of my favorites was the one where that girl wandered into that other dimension through her bedroom wall and they could hear her in the house but they couldn't see her, she was sort of there but not, something about that idea always fascinated me. The one thing I miss about not having cable is those twilight zone marathons, and even before they had them on the sci fi channel, ch 20 up in the bay area where I lived used to show all night twilight zone marathons, it was a bit of a tradition for me, I had been staying up all night for them since I was 8 years old. I stayed up all night last night as I had to finish up an initial draft of my master's thesis. I was up all night last night and I went to bed at 5PM today, but I just woke up, it felt like I slept for days, I was sure it was almost dawn, but it's only 11:30PM, but I'm wide awake (I feel a bit like I'm in the twilight zone too), oh well, maybe I'll get some work done on my RCA 6T65 tonight, I've been so busy I haven't had any time to work on it for the last month or so.

One of my favorite episodes is a "comic" episode starring the immortal Buster Keaton as a put upon 1890s inventor who makes a time travelling hat that takes him to the present (1960s). He's been bored in his own time but the pace and change of the present made him realize that there is indeed "no place like home." It's a simple tale with little dialogue. It works for me because of Keaton, who was, quite simply, a comic genius and possibly the greatest physical comedian of all time.

Maybe its just me but TZ has some of the most beautiful black and white cinematography I've seen. Or maybe its just that this last marathon was the first time I've really seen b/w on the new TV. Great show..
