I liked it better that just about any other episode I can think of.
Certainly one of the creepiest.
Anyone else on board with it?

Wonder if the writers strike pushed it back? soundmotor 12-06-2007, 10:40 AM I missed it. BTW, do you know when the regular season starts? Wonder if the writers strike pushed it back? Believe it is 3/08; feh! :thumbsdn: goldear 12-06-2007, 11:31 PM I watched it. And yes, it was certailny well produced. But I found the obvious political ajenda that they were pushing with portions of the show to be extremely dissapointing, and really ruined it for me. :sigh: soundmotor 12-07-2007, 08:00 AM I watched it. And yes, it was certailny well produced. But I found the obvious political ajenda that they were pushing with portions of the show to be extremely dissapointing, and really ruined it for me. :sigh: I didn't see it so much as pushing an agenda as following what is going on in the USA. 9/11 happened and it shocked us, we are in a war now, portions of the country are diametrically opposed to each other, and many more just want to get by. Most of that undercurrent was obvious in Razor. It was also obvious though in the pilot of Galactica and pretty much every episode since. I can however see though that once you pick up on something it can taint the rest of the experience. It just didn't get to me that way because I've accepted that this is part & parcel of the show. A show, to me, that is still one of the best sci-fi romps to come along in awhile. Jack G 12-07-2007, 02:15 PM I passed on Razor. I haven't been as keen on the show since season 2.5-only saw the first 1/2 of season 3. I also found the other stories with the Pegasus to be rather nasty. I'll eventually see it though. I'm not sure if I like the direction BSG is going now. Jack Grainger49 12-07-2007, 02:22 PM I caught it. But somwewhere I missed the "What They Created" that was going to kill them all. That was in the ads for the episode. We already knew about the executions of family members... etc. It was OK, filled in some holes. redcoates7 12-07-2007, 03:09 PM Loved it...heck fo a show. As to goldear's comments, I got a very different message...that even the most civilized among us (Lee Adama) can be driven to the point where the rules of civiliazed society don't apply anymore. In other words, by the end of the episode, Lee saw that sometimes you MUST make terrible decisions for teh greater good. |
